Abstract
This article determines the content validity of a human rights measurement instrument in Mexico, from Lawshe (1975) and Tristán (2008) models. Exploratory, descriptive, and non-experimental research is carried out under a panel of experts, who value the content and the relevance of each item. The higher content validity ratio (cvr) is 1.0 and the lower
is 0.143; the content validity index (cvi) is 0.893, so the measuring instrument evaluated is considered acceptable.
