Abstract

This article studies the participation of the Catholic Church of Costa Rica in the process of tramitation and approval of the Law Project known as “Combo ICE”. Due to the importance of that moment, the author speaks of a ‘before’ and an ‘after’ the “combo”,enfasizing in the analysis of the discourse of the episcopal hierarchy.
