Abstract

The game is an activity as old asman himself, but his concept, and his way of practice varies by culture of peoples. Human beings innately is performed on the product of an enjoyable experience as a result of a compromiseparticular, is a valuable stimulus by which the individual becomes more proficient, insightful, light, clever,particularly strong and cheerful, so defined Lacayo and Coello(1992), where also believe that children learn to grow in a recreational way.The teacher must be aware of the usefulness of the gamein the development of learning, their work is going to be provided in the sense of having class objectives, structured activities not only free speech but of social, emotional and intellectual.The article tries to give an overview of what the game is, its importance for the educator, and game theoriesits proponents, and the classification thereof.This allows teachers to develop a theoretical concept thatsustain activities between the game and itsclass objectives. Converting or giving a senselogical to a child's natural activity and what he is expected to fully develop in the classroom.
