Temporary closure of new manuscript submissions
Dear Authors and Reviewers,
We would like to inform you that Agronomía Mesoamericana will temporarily close new manuscript submissions beginning November 2, 2026, and will reopen submissions on January 18, 2027, due to the high volume of manuscripts received for consideration. This measure will allow us to focus our efforts on manuscripts already in the editorial process.
The closure applies only to new manuscript submissions. Manuscripts already received will continue through initial editorial screening or peer review, depending on their current stage. We will also continue to send review invitations and accept review reports and revised manuscripts.
The valuable support of our reviewers will remain essential during this period. We appreciate your willingness to assist with manuscript evaluations and contribute to the quality of the articles published.
To our authors, we extend our thanks for your patience and the trust you place in the journal.
