Abstract

Higher education institutions in the modern world require meeting the needs of Millennials. These students show various learning preferences and a high degree of motivation in the process of developing their knowledge and skills with technology tools. The main objective of this study is to analyze if freshman students in three English majors ath the National University (Heredia) present the characteristics of Millennials. Data were collected through a questionnaire designed by the researchers, and the results propose a series of teaching and learning strategies to help English teachers to meet the needs of these students.
