Abstract
Some of the speeches issued on the 100th anniversary of the National Campaign of 1856 focused on the importance of this fact in the central American integration and hemispheric with the United States. It was left for granted the existence of Juan Santamaria and exalted the foresight of Juan Rafael Mora Porras in the conduct of the confrontation against the filibuster by consolidating a speech conservative and patriarchal of national history.Comments
