Abstract
In this article an exhaustive typology of public and private spaces of costumbrist scenes of Larra and Mesonero Romanos is proposed. In each one of them, the enunciator identifies social types and practices. A focal point are streets, parks, cemeteries, theaters, pawn shops, employment offices, public festivities, prisons, markets, stock markets, shops, cafés, boarding houses, fondas (cheap restaurants) and private houses.Comments
