Resumen

Reforzar la importancia del papel sanitario de la escuela ante las consecuencias indirectas sufridas durante los últimos años de la pandemia del covid.19, desde la perspectiva de la promoción de la salud y la adquisición de hábitos saludables y de actividad física es de suma importancia. Por ello, se invita a replantear las estrategias para hacer frente a las consecuencias de la pandemia del covid-19, que se tradujo en nuevas cifras de sedentarismo, sobrepeso, obesidad y problemas de salud mental, considerando entonces las características individuales de los escolares y los espacios educativos para la promoción de una vida saludable y la práctica de actividad física y ejercicio sin riesgo para la salud.
