Resumen

Los estudios que analizan la relación entre la competencia motriz (CM) real y percibida, la condición física (CF) y la práctica de actividad física (AF) son limitados. El objetivo
del presente estudio fue analizar la relación recíproca directa e indirecta de estos cuatro factores del modelo conceptual de desarrollo motor. Participó voluntariamente alumnado (n = 679; 50.8 % niñas) de 5º y 6º de educación primaria. La CM real y percibida se midió utilizando el Canadian Agility and Movement Skill Assessment (CAMSA) y Perceived Movement Skill Competence (PMSC), respectivamente; la CF se midió realizando el test Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run (PACER) y la AF se midió a través del Physical Activity Questionnare for Children (PAQ-C). Se realizaron análisis de correlación, de regresión múltiple y de mediación. Los resultados mostraron una relación recíproca entre las variables de estudio (r = .237 - .477; p < .01), explicando entre un 28-30 % de la varianza de la CM real y la AF. La CF y la CM percibida mediaron la relación entre CM real y AF en ambos sentidos. Las programaciones docentes de educación física deben enfocarse a favorecer el aprendizaje y experiencias motrices del alumnado no solo a nivel físico, sino también prestando atención a aspectos psicológicos como la percepción de competencia.
