Agronomía Mesoamericana

About the Journal

Agronomía Mesoamericana is a continuously published scientific journal, with one annual volume that opens in January and closes in December. It is published by the University of Costa Rica and aims to disseminate original scientific information in Spanish or English through the publication of scientific articles, technical notes, analyses and comments, and literature reviews. Literature reviews are published only by invitation of the Editorial Board. The journal receives manuscripts related to agri-food sciences conducted in any region of the world, with particular relevance to tropical and subtropical areas.

Agronomía Mesoamericana incorporates interoperability protocols that allow its metadata to be harvested by other content distribution systems. This process is carried out through the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH), which facilitates the exchange and harvesting of metadata from open-access scientific digital resources.
